New blood test predicting death with incredible accuracy.
One day we will all die. But if you were able to find out exactly when you were going to die, would you like to know?
Scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing have developed a new blood test that can predict whether you will die within the next 10 years.
But not only that, the test shows whether you will die within a decade with an accuracy of more than 80%.
To develop the test, the researchers analyzed 44,168 participants aged 18 to 109 years, 5,512 of whom died during the study period.
Blood tests of study participants revealed 14 metabolic substances in the blood that predict whether or not a person may die in the next 10 years.
And the study showed that a blood sample of yours could be analyzed for the presence of these biological indicators to indicate when you would die with an accuracy of 83 percent.
